It has many pages, which can be brought up by pressing Left and Right. You can use this menu to modify your stats, level, money, and character, but the job class option doesn't work. The Return option in the beginning is a warping option taking you anywhere, including a Test area. You can open functional menus which normally appear at set locations (like churches and taverns).

There is a Walk Through Walls option for the overworld (which can glitch up battles), aside from a Monster Viewer.

Various test monsters remain in the game's code. All except Ortega appear as Slimes (probably the default value).

• Death Organ (sell for 0): Kills your entire party in battle, then causes all monsters to run away.
• Water Pistol: Does nothing. This was a gag item in the NES version, and somehow didn't make it into this one.
